The Tweeten Rapid Cue Top Sander is a must have if you are putting on a new tip. This tool sands the top of the ferrule forming a flat base for the cue tip to be glued on. Gave it a 4 instead of 5 as they give you only 1 piece of sand paper. A few xtra would have been nice.

This device works great the same paper they give you at this very aggressive I would suggest getting a little bit lighter grit so it doesn't take so much off so fast my only complaint would be you have to wrap something around your shaft when you go to use it so you do not ding your shaft
Not bad for the price. Only used it once, but did a decent job.
Does what it is supposed to do if you don't get too aggressive and tear the sandpaper. Gripping the circular portion with your fingers and rotating back and forth rather than trying to spin it around in one direction with the crank handle works better for me. Easier to control the downward pressure on the ferrule and keep things even that way. Also...WARNING!!!...be sure to pad the shaft with masking tape or a business reply card from a magazine before clamping to the shaft...it will ding the shaft if you don't. No need to really clamp down hard....
Portable, simple, effective. Just a couple of seconds will get ferrule ready for glue, love it!
Cast metal was poorly constructed, but useable. Had to make better sanding discs. Also very dirty.
