Tiger Sniper Laminated Cue Tips are made from a boar hide that is tanned the old fashioned way, under ground. Treated slowly and without any chemicals, each hide takes up to a year to tan completely. The hide is then treated in Tiger Products factory to give the Sniper tips characteristics that will improve your game. The Vaculam is a unique vacuum lamination process that eliminates air between the layers and within the leather. They have also added a new treatment, "APP" (Advanced Pressurized Process), to make these cue tips adaptable to any player or game, regardless of style. Tiger Products Guarantee that the Sniper tip has all the characteristics of a tip that will hold chalk well and will not Mushroom. It will give you maximum control, consistency and least amount of deflection a tip can offer. Sniper Laminated Cue Tips, Precision at it's best! Manufactured by Tiger Products. This Sniper Tip features:

  • Hardness: Med-Hard
  • Quantity: One (1) tip
  • Available sizes: 14mm
  • Made of Boar Hide leather

I was using Tiger Everest tips on all my sticks previously but decided to try the Sniper because of a friend's recommendation. After playing with this tip on a Z2 shaft for about 2 weeks there is a noticeable difference between the Everest and the Sniper. The Sniper is a harder tip but I get the control and action of a soft tip. I haven't given it a 5 star rating yet because I've only been using the tip a short time and the final test I'd like to make is durability...I shoot 4-5 nights a week so I should find that out quickly. So far I'm happy I made the change!

I have been experimenting with different tips on my old cues. I like this one. It has a good feel and is holding up to the price.

  • Best tip for me

There is no perfect cue tip, but I always come back to this one. I've tried Kamui blacks, predator tips, le pro, and this one always is my favorite. It a hard enough to go with how I prefer to control my speed and you can get any amount of English you could need.

  • great tip!

Easy to put on, a little harder to shape, but a game changer for sure. Nice touch shots, english, and strong enough break well. Holds chalk well, keeps its shape

One of the worst tips I ever bought. Does not hold chalk well. Is entirely to hard. I order a medium and got one that is hard as a friggin rock. I had never in all my playing days hard trouble with miscues until I used this tip. It cost me a close league game.

  • Good but not great

Came in a bit harder than advertised which surprised me given how consistent Tiger usually is. Good tip but just not exactly the match to my play style that i'm looking for. Still searching for the right tip as a result.

  • Sniper is awesome

Not much to say other than it's awesome. I watched guys I play with shooting with Moorie and Kamui. They all take turn miscueing. Either their strokes is not as good or their tips. In either case, I am sticking to my sniper tip.

  • 4 stars only because I haven't met a 5 yet

The best tip I have ever used.....holds its shape and holds chalk better than more expensive tips. The feel on contact superior to all other tips.
