Nice design, allows easy access to change chalk, keeps your chalk unique and stands out from the other players.
works well, keeps my hands clear of chalk and keeps the carpet cleaner so you do not get lots of lose chalk on the fall.
It keeps chalk from getting on your pocket if you are putting it inside your pocket when playing.
Looks OK - but practically speaking is it really needed?
If you're not careful (like my son) then you push the bottom off the holder when chalking and spend more time fiddling to slide it back in than actually chalking.
But it's a cheap conversation piece that all adds to the fun ambience of the pool room.
