Recently began learning the jump shot, so I wanted something to use that wasn't too expensive. I bought this Players Cue and first try was a success. Extra Hard Bakelite Tip pops the cue ball in the air with little effort, controlling it is another lesson altogether. Doubling as a Break Cue and getting two cues in one means more for your buck. Very pleased with this purchase.

  • Solid Cue

This stick hits solid and feels like your throwing a sledge hammer into the rack, so you get a great spread. But for more advanced players, I would suggest using a different break cue. I cant keep the ball on the table when trying to get my "8 on the break" shot, so it really only works for hitting the rack straight on.

I used the cure for the first time playing in a 9 ball tournament today. As a break cue, I consistently potted 2 balls on EVERY break - and I WON! Good solid cue. However... I ordered the cue in 21oz, and the cue feels much lighter than my other 21oz cue. I need to change the weight.

This is a good jump break stick. I have 2 one I use to shoot with that's why I ordered another.

Still not sure if I'm going to keep this cue. Overall, I'm satisfied with it...but hasn't delivered quite like I thought it would. My break has improved but only slightly.

Wanted the same cue with leather wrap, but was sold out this is a good basic cue , better than bar cues.
