1st break cue I've had so no comparisons but I'm happy with my purchase. I've been using an older sneaky pete with a standard tip to break with. The jb6 definitely has a better spread on the break. Can't use too much English though. The tip is way to hard. Maybe a half tip off center, just enough to make the cue ball check up. Never had a jump cue either and my 1st attempt jumping with it was successful. I'd say I play better than the average working bear. Usually break and run 1-3 times out of 20 racks (8 ball). I play maybe 30-40 games in a week. For as much as I get to play this cue is good. I've never broke with a $400 cue though so.. ignorance is bliss and I'm sticking to it. I'm happy and if your in similar shoes it's worth 88 bucks.

A good break cue. I would prefer a thinner shaft but it does the job well

This is a pretty decent cue. Fit and finish is nice and hits hard. Overall I am happy with the cue for the price and performance. I had the tip changed to a Samsara jump/break tip and on the first night of league the tip fell off. I called customer service and they very promptly sent a return label and I returned the shaft and they replaced the tip and sent it back without any problems. I am very impressed by the customer service and would recommend the product and cue to fellow players.

  • Nice, but looks like a house cue

The only complaint I have about this cue is that it looks too much like a house cue. When I played in crowded bar tournaments, people would always confuse this cue for a house cue and try to play with it even though I had it sitting way off to the side, nowhere near the house cues. I ended up returning this cue but only for this reason.
