    I have been playing pool now consistently for about a year now, so I figured it was time to get a good cue. For the price, this cue is a great option for any player. It is a huge step up form the cues I have been using. I would recommend this to anyone who its looking to get a new cue, and is in the $150 price range.

    Very nice. I added this butt (5/16x18) to a Players shaft I had previously purchased from Ozone and had turned down to 12.5 with a kamui tip. Balanced feel and looks great. For a beginner cue, this is perfect.

    My first stick was the basic Action Value series and for $47 it's a fine cue. I'm a novice to the game and it was better than a house cue. The Players G1003 though, for an extra $50, is not only a better cue stick quality wise; it's absolutely beautiful. I don't think the photo does it justice. When I opened the box the wood grain just popped at me and the urethane is like a mirror. I just played with it for the first time today and it is a pleasure to use. I don't have the experience yet to appreciate a $400 cue, but for anyone looking to pay $50-$100 for a cue you need to seriously consider this one and since Players has a lifetime warranty, it's a no brainer.

    This is a very attractive cue without being "flashy". It is solid, straight and feels good in my hands. I am no pro and this is not an expensive cue but in my opinion we are a perfect match. I really enjoy using this cue, far superior to the standard cue at the pool hall. I even use it for breaks. If you play pool occasionally, you will be happy with this cue.

    I bought this Item as a prize for pool tournaments I hold for the Marines, Sailors, Soldiers, and Airmen in Afghanistan. The Marine that won the Players cue loves it and it has really improved his game.
