I actually bought this for a friend, but I've shot with it about as much as he has. I ordered it in the 18 oz weight, but when I got it it weighed 19.3 oz. There was an 18 oz sticker placed on top of a 19 oz sticker, so I'm not sure what happened there. The actual weight was 19.3 oz. but it was an easy matter to remove the weight which was 2.3 oz and shorten it until I got it down to 18 oz. This is advertized as having a pro taper, but it is very short. It is also not as slim as I prefer, but it still shoots very well. The stick is very slick and glides well through a closed bridge. Anyone with very small fingers would do better with a smaller diameter cue, but for this price point I find it quite acceptable. My friend likes it well enough that he hasn't shot with any of his other cues.
