I started playing pool 8 ball back in1960 i have won more than my share of games im 74 now and disabled and still playng i bought the i3 becouse i like to shoot soft with english this shaft allowes me to do just that. It works better than any i have used so far..if you want to improve your game buy one.
Love this shaft, the small Kamui super soft tip makes applying spin easy and effortless. Able to use more English with more control because it takes less of a stroke to do so. Not trying to over hit to get the cue ball to react the way I want. This shaft has made my game that much better.
Bought this shaft on thursday and had it by monday. Originally had the all maple shaft and didn't know what I was missing out on. The action on the CB is much easier now with the super soft tip and more flexible shaft (compared to all maple mcdermott shaft with included tip). Actually first time I used the cue tonight in a tournament and won $90 for first. Coincidence? Maybe, but still this cue has definitely improved my game.

Immediate notice the tremendous difference compare to the stock shafts. The super soft tip made applying spin a lot easier that I was amazed at myself. The shaft brought my game to a new level. I wish I had gotten it sooner. It took some time to get use to the European taper, which is relatively narrow. But after while it was no issue. The fitting of this shaft to my McDermott butt(3/8 x 10) is very snug, unlike my stock McDermott shaft; I first thought Ozone sent me the wrong size. But I later figured out that these fit snug. It is a very nice cue, get a joint protector for it. Highly recommend.
Ozone Billiards is the best. Fast and very professional. The i-3 and a fantastic work of engineering. very precise, low deflection and needs a bit of time to get used to. I used to use the G-core 13mm, so with a shaft 11.75 i-3, it takes some getting used to. I love it and would recommend it to anyone any day.
