I ventured up to OZONE on 2-27, with the intention of purchasing a cue. This particular one jumped out at me. Beautiful craftsmanship. The feel of this cue is quite nice also, as it seems to be balance throughout the butt and doesn't feel back heavy at all. The staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable. This is my fourth McDermott, and I continue to be impressed by the quality of these cues. I took it up to the pool hall that night to break it in and was wonderfully surprised by the playability of the cue. This cue handles very well and absorbs the hits and transfers power evenly throughout the shaft. That's the G-core shaft for you in a nutshell. I also have the I2 shaft that is nice, especially if you like the low deflection shafts. Overall great purchase and with a lifetime warranty with McDermott, how can you go wrong. Definitely a great cue that won't break the Bank.
