    I've always known the excellent reputation Mcdermott has. My buddy has an expensive one. Ive played pool for almost 30 years but not often and I'm decent but not great. I have started to get more serious about playing lately, so I wanted to buy a new Cue but not spend a bunch of money. I'm not looking to be a professional. However, I was shocked at the quality of this thing. Look, you aren't going to win a beauty contest with this thing. Its just a basic stick. However, it's well crafted and I am shooting really good with it, just as good as my buddies high end stick. I'm blown away. Eventually I will upgrade to something more fancy, but It will be a McDermott, customer for life,.

    Just got this cue...looks good, hits good and has good balance. I had the shaft turned to a 12mm
    and they did a Great job...very professional. My first McDermott and I am Very Satisfied.

  • Very good cue if I was to change anything about it would change the tip and have the shaft shaved down and add wrap for to bring out color
