For many years Master chalk has been the Official Chalk of the BCA Open 9-Ball Championships.

It is a favorite among many pool players. This Master billiard gold color chalk has the texture that transforms smoothly and evenly to leather cue tips. It forms the proper coating to the tip of the cue to prevent miscues and insure pool player satisfaction. Available by the dozen.

I've heard the craze about Kamui chalk. I've tried Kamui chalk, and yes, it's awesome. It's better than Master chalk when it comes to grip. But Kamui is SO much more expensive, and I have tan cloth on my home table.

Honestly, I think Master chalk works great, is very easy to find, it comes in a lot of colors, and it's very cheap. Sorry Kamui. Master it is.

It's what i always use at home because of the beige carpet. It clings to Elk Mater, Le Pro, and Triangle cue tips, but not much on a couple of layered tips that i've tried.

  • Love it.

I have both and have been using both to come to a conclusion on which is better(or the one I like most)First I have Simonis cloth, camel in color and Silver Cup matches perfectly,Masters is too dark(and yes ordered both in same color Gold Tan).Second I like the way Silver Cup goes on the cue tip it seems to me to be alittle softer. They both cover cue tip very well and seem to me to play to the same and last the same on cue tip before caulking again.Silver Cup might not last as long because it is softer(IMO).Again both play well,do good job.Just personal choice.I Like Silver Cup....John
