  • Lucasi Cue Model LZP30

This cue is a machine. Point and shoot. My fellow pool fanatics at "the hall" all want to use this cue as opposed to the 10 other cues I own and use (although one is a break and one is a jump and 3 are Snooker's in 5mm, 8mm and 9.5mm). It's as good aa a cue of over $1000 (I do use the low flex Lucasi shaft on this model). It is beautiful without being overly ornate, but its subtle design is still eyecatching and starts conversations with..."What is that cue?" and "Who makes THAT...I want one". The balance is sweet (I use the 18oz version), and the tip requires very little maintenance to maintain the "dime radius" I like for English application. Overall, I like it so much I bought a second so that I can loan one out to friends who treat it with the respect it deserves. Draw can be achieved without even grasping the but or snapping the shooting hand. It's layers of protective coating have prevented scratches from permanently making its appearance. I am buying a third as a gift for my partner and teacher. That's how much I think of its design and performance. It's a strong 8.5 to 9 (with above that reserved for ultra upscale inlays that shoot as well as this cue. A must have in any bag as a primary or deck-up cue. If you can't tell how much I think of this particular Lucasi, I have failed in my review. You will be glad you "picked one up" after one rack of 14.1 or 8 or 9 or 10 ball. Fred. E.
