Purchased this item as a ball cleaner/polish that could be used by hand. The product cleans balls well, but dulls them. I was not able to polish them out. Had to use a carnuba wax to get shine back by hand. Maybe appropriate for a machine.

cleans pretty well but doesn't polish easy have to put a little muscle to it.

Removed the majority of chalk marks and polished nicely. I haven't used any other products so I don't really have anything else to compare it to, but it did a good job.
I did not see a big difference in the way the balls looked
My pool balls now have a nice shine to them, but it did not remove all of the old stains.
