The 9 inch tip shaper and trimmer is one of the first tip tools every made and to this day it is still a favorite of many players. It is one of the simplest tools to use. All you have to do is pull the trimmer across your tip and it will gradually reshape your tip to a perfect nickel radius.

You can't beat it for the price.
You may have to hold the sandpaper in place with your thumb, but it works great.
New sandpaper can be cut with a razor knife from almost any sheet.
It's slim shape makes it fit easily into my OVERSTUFFED case.

  • Essential tool for any retipping kit

You have to have this tip sander in your retipping arsenal. It shapes and scuffs your tip to the perfect radius easily, just with a few swipes of this tool. Very good to have and easy to use. Very good price also.

  • Good shape

Does a great job of getting the beginning shape to your new tip. Took me a half hour with a cube shaper to do what I did better with this in five minutes. Then get your cube shaper out to refine the shape, or don't. Yes it's thin, yes it's $1.29.
