$17 seem a little high for a piece of plastic tube but if it helps, ok. i find the instructions are non existent, and once you try it on a pool table it doesn't have enough elevation to allow your stick to clear the rail and still stroke the cue. i know you want to be as level as possible but you have to clear the rail.

The concept is good and it does it's job, but I find it to be too light.

I don't know if it is my stroke angle (I keep cue very low) or the device but often after I go in it cleanly it gets caught on my stick and comes back with my cue as I draw back to do it again.

I like that it has several different heights that you can set it at, but all of them do the above to me.
