I wanted a set of truly high quality billiard balls to replace the "high quality" set that came with my new pool table. It was my hope that I could notice, or at least imagine, a positive difference with the Aramith Tournament balls. To be honest, despite the steep price, I didn't have much confidence that the extra expense would be money well-spent. I was extremely pleased to find that I could easily (and immediately) notice a positive difference with the performance of the Aramith Tournament balls. Very satisfied with this purchase. I should also add that I expected to be annoyed with the extra dots on the cue ball that came with the set, but, I even like those (and find them very helpful).

You can't find better balls. They look great, play incredibly well, and they even sound better than other balls. I like that the value pack came with the cleaner too, it's a must and does and excellent job like most things Aramith puts it's name on. The Jim Rempe training ball is nice if you are new and wanting to learn better ball control or experienced and want to tighten things up.

i own a set of brunswick centennials which is and plays exactly the same the only difference is the aramith and the duramith technolgy which limits cloth burn to by far the least where te brunswick and aramith super pros will by no means ruin your cloth but do leave a more frequent occurance of burn arks the these tournament will get you yhe longest time possible out of your cloth, all three if maintained finishes are simply the best if you have a new quality table and simonis cloth you could use these balls for a year and be able to put back in the box and sell them as new if burn marks dont bother you all 3 billiard balls i mentioned are all the same buy which ever you can find for less but if thy do bother you buy a set of these they are used in 90pct of all pro 8 and 9 ball championship the aramith tournaments are used

  • Fabulous - but take to your tournaments.

I noticed a difference between these balls and the regular 'Aramith' balls right away. Even 'Brunswick Centennials' can't compete with these. They roll truer, faster (somehow), rack tighter, and the response on the break is amazing. I still managed to get a few of the dreaded 'skids' (kicks in UK pool speak) but seemingly less than with the standard balls. The only problem is, once you use these, you'll ALWAYS want to use them so have a set to carry around with you!! This is the new standard though. Very impressive.

I previously thought that a set of "pro-grade" billiard balls was just unnecessary expense and would add little to a home game. Now that I have these Aramith Tournament Pro Cup balls, I know how wrong I was. These balls roll truer, break better and wider, react more precisely, etc., than any previous set of billiard balls I've ever used.
