a teammate lent me this book to help pull myself out of a slump. it work for the most part, put as an experienced shooter, I found some sections to be commonsense. on the other hand, players that are new to league or tournament play, or new to pool in general, would gain from reading this as preparation for stress, pressure, and high stake situations.

I bought this book hoping to improve my game.
I took the advice of the writer and went to the table of contents to see which topic applied (instead of reading it from cover to cover) and found exactly what i needed. I play in a league and was having mental break downs, not closing. A couple paragraphs and some inspirational quotes and I haven't lost in two weeks.

A must read for those of us who have experienced the "wall" where we can't seem to get any better. This book puts it all into perspective. Read it cover to cover.

I haven't read the whole thing yet, but it does provide some good insight to those "d'oh" moments we all have once and a while.
