Product was shipped by Ozone Billiards quickly. Fits my McDermott pins well and I prefer plastic joint covers over aluminum.

I have just upgraded my cue, in the past few months, but have owned my previous cue for over a decade. I have had a lot of very good memories with it, and decided to hand it down to my little brother. So to make sure that the old cue shoots straight, for a few more decades, I invested in this joint protector. So worth it to keep my good memories safe, and make sure that my brother can produce many of his own great memories, too.

take care of your cues and they'll last forever and this is a great little tool to help preserve the cue and shaft. perfect for keeping that cue killer moisture and debris out of the joints

Excellent fit for my McDermott shaft and butt. I have them for all of my butts and shafts. Definitely would recommend it if you'd like to protect your cue.

  • Joint Protectors are not all the same

Posted by David on Nov 8th 2014

I have ordered these a few times over the years for 3/8-10 joints (and other joint types) and found they may vary slightly apparently from stock batch to batch or manufacturers. Some of the male portions are a bit shorter than others of different manufactures and only slightly engage the threads of some shafts, but are just fine on other shafts. For McDermott 3/8-10 joints, I buy McDermott protectors for best fit, though they are a bit longer and usually require longer cue cases such as 31 inch max. section lengths.
