Ball Position - Rail Shot
Rather read than watch? Read about Ball Position - Rail Shot below:
The Technique
Occasionally you might be in a game winning scenario with your last two balls both sitting on rails across the table from each other. With the right technique you can sink one shot and then bring the cue ball back across the table to get shape on the eight ball. By watching the video you'll see how applying low inside spin and hitting the rail first can get you great position for your next shot. In this particular scenario, hitting the ball first instead of the rail will cause the cue ball to roll down the table in the wrong direction leaving you with an almost impossible shot.
