A good triangle tip is compared to all the layered tips. Players everywhere say my ......... tip plays like a goos triangle, so why pay 15 or 20 dollars for a tip when ozone has the best price , only for 85 cents. absolutely the best. Ask shane van boening or johnny archer, they both use triangle tips and there both world champions!!!

This tip is just the right hardness for me. It has good grip on the ball, but yet doesn't mushroom on hard shots. It is a pretty thick tip too, so I'm expecting it to last for a while. Great product.

I have grown fond of these tips for there great attributes; They are hard enough to hold shape and resist mushrooming, great feel and control with both soft and hard shots, creates great english, and hold chalk great. I have switched to them from Le Pro tips because to me they play better and are better chalkers. Definitely a better performing tip than there price reflects!!!!!

This tip is not as great as the le pro. However, it retains it chalk very well. Draw back shots are not as good as le pro.

It can be hard to figure out whether the triangle or le pro tip is the best standard tip, but I have to give the edge to triangle. They may wear a little quicker, but their grab and feel is only a little lower than a standard tiger layered tip, and a lot cheaper. These make great back up tips, or if you don't want to spend 20-40 for layered tips will be some of the best standard tips you can buy. I highly recommend them especially for people who play in bars more than regular halls

I'm a everest person but I got this tip for a friend to replace the original worn out tip and was extremely surprised that even as hard as it was it still grabbed and applied so much English! Still wouldn't change my everest for it but for 85 cents it was a great bargain!

I usually play with an extremely hard cue tip. However, on certain shots I needed more "grab" to execute extremely log draw shots, etc. This medium-hard tip served the purpose perfectly.

Only used a couple but much happier with LaPro. Seemed very soft and didn't hold it's shape well. Softer is supposed to produce better english but LaPro still outperformes. Harder to shape too, the leather seems very stringy and soft.

It is a cheap tip for a cheap cue, but it is a great tip for the price. I wanted to check out a harder tip without spending $20, just not as hard as a Pro. This is a 91 I think and a 84 in a layered tip should be what I'm looking for. I am getting very good results with this one.

I prefer the Le Pro over the Triangle. I have experimented with the Triangle, Le Pro, and Elkmaster and prefer the Le Pro overall. There is nothing wrong with the Triangle. I guess it is just preference.

These tips shoot a little quicker then I'd like, I'm just a bit addicted to the Moori Med. They WILL put english on the ball, no doubt about it. They will, however, launch a cue ball faster then you expected sometimes (I was doing stop shots from across a 9' table which aint easy). I'm so used to the softer hit of a true med tip that if I don't think about it I can screw things up with a faster speed of a hard tip. Not really the tips fault but this aint med by any stretch, it just grips a lot more then most hard tips.

I bought these tips to replace the Le Pro tip on my GW cue. I wanted to try out a new tip and i didnt want to spend 15 plus dollars for a layered tip. I am very happy with my choice to use triangle tips. they retain their shape very well. (I play about 4-5 hours, 3-4 days out of the week and I barley have to shape the tip).

You get more than what you pay for these tips, but then again you wouldn't expect anything less from the people who manufacture Master Chalk... If I were to leave a layered tip this would be it, all of my house cues will soon be supporting triangle tips... They never mushroom and this is after probably 400 breaks or more, I sometimes just break and re-rack for a full day which is 8 hours or more for me... So if you have a problem with the tip, I wouldn't blame anyone but the person that put it on... If Ozone puts it on for you and you don't like it, then you yourself might be a little mushroomed...

Call me old school, but I love these tips. It's really a matter of opinion but I say most the hype surrounding the new layered tips is just that, hype. Assuming you play a lot of pool, you can buy a ten year supply of these for the cost of one layered tip. They never seperate, the hit is very consistant throughout the life of the tip, you can put a ton of spin on the ball and champions played with them for years. After the first couple weeks of play they hold their shape very well and rarely need maintenance.
Pros:
Affordable, consistant and proven over a long, long time.Cons:
They aren't layered if that means anything to you.
