Better Than A Phenolic
By Robert from Fairfax, Virginia on September 20, 2011

Works great, the two layers really help with control, besides solely power. I am never using a phenolic again these are legit

Fine break tip. Poor jump tip.

Had the tiger jumpbreak tip installed by Ozone on a new graphite cuetec jumpbreak que. I works excellent as a break tip because I can control how the cue ball reacts. This was impossible with my old break cue with a synthetic tip.
As a jump tip, this tiger tip is useless. Why tiger advertises it as such is questionable. I have had a number of folks try it without yet one succeeding in getting the ball over 1/2 inch off the felt. And they can do an excellent job jumping otherwise.
break good...jump poor

This tip is great as a break tip BUT poor if you want to use it to jump,it all so only comes as a 15mm , will not fit in any of my trim tools.

If you're looking for that extra snap in your break, this is by far the best tip going. No matter if you're a powerhouse or a softer shooter, this tip is for you!
Break tip

I just replaced the Phenolic tip on my breaker with the tiger tip. The phenolic was so hard that unfortuantly with the slightest miscue it broke the tip (cheap tip maybe).
The tiger tip on the other hand, its not as hard as the phenolic but still pretty close BUT....and this is a big one since the tiger tip is leather, i gained so much more control on the break its not even funny. To the point where after the cue makes contacts it jumps well over a foot stight up in the air, comes down with so much top spin that as soon as it contacts the table it takes off again moving forward just like when i first hit it.
Pros:
hard tip, super control on breaks. Cons:
not as hard as phenolic but for leather its pretty close.
