Star Cue by McDermott - Pearl Diamond Inlays Ron from Los Angeles on October 9, 2011 Great looking cue with upgraded everest tip. Had been playing with a TAD custom cue, so adjustment to the grip, slight weight/ balance point differences, and shaft deflection was necessary but this Star cue is a good player cue. I was able to apply English as desired, and power strokes to make four rail shots were easily done. Getting used to a 3/8 x 10 joint, if there is to be a negative, would be the negative, but we're only talking additional seconds to assemble. I've only played it four or five hours so I have yet to be able to "get in the zone" with it. May consider a Predator Z shaft later, we'll see. For under $200 this was a good purchase.

Stick has great feel and tip is awesome.
Not to excited about the free case. Cue will not fit in deep enough to zip the case closed. When you buy choose another accessory and buy a good case that will fit the cue.
