Rub away
By JRR from Florida on December 30, 2011

Price was good and time for delivery was great but you have to rub it for a long time in order for it to become smoother.
Works great.

Great Item
By Michael from New York, NY on March 30, 2011

I use this in combination with the SHAFT-M8 Pad and the Porper "Shaft Polisher". Start with the rough side of this pad, the 2400 grit on the M8, then the 3200 on the M8, then the Porper, then the leather side of this pad. Works so well all the regulars on my team and at my fav bars ask me to clean their cues on a regular basis. The combination removes even badly chalk stained cues. My reg bar in Brooklyn uses red felt and chalk which stains badly. This combo strips it all off.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Horrible!
By Luis from , on March 28, 2011

Doesn't do a damn thing. The leather side only removed a bit of chalk. A paper bag and a little bit of water works a whole lot better
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Make Sure You Use It Properly.
By Lam from Sugar Land, TX on March 17, 2011

The ink on the leather side will come off and stick on to your cue during burnishing. You will have a very hard time removing the tar like off your cue.
Also, make sure you clean the scrubing side often, otherwise the debrise will accumulate and will actually do more harm than good to your cue.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Finally
By Robert from Radford, Va on March 11, 2011

I have bought several pads for cleaning, and applying cue silk and such and this one finally meets all my needs so that i do not have to buy abother one. I have bought several less accomidating one, but his new product by cue cube shows that they know whats up. I will eternally buy this if i need replacements, 5 stars

By ray j from st. joseph, mo on February 14, 2011

seemed to make a little difference, not enough to justify the cost
Excellent!
By Jesse from Allston, MA on January 12, 2011

This thing is great for removing hand sweat and any other dirt that builds up on your cue shaft. A quick rub of the leather side after the white side will bring back a glossy smooth finish. This thing isn't very abrasive, so there are no worries about it removing the finish or sanding down the surface.
I would recommend this item to a friend.

2 minutes
By Miguel from Houston, TX on October 1, 2010

This thing is awesome. I used to clean my cue every two or three times I played because of how long it took but now 2 minutes and im done. Sometimes I clean my cue while I wait for the tab before it even goes in my case.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Ok as a shaft Slicker
By William Johnson from US on September 28, 2010

This tool is ok as a shaft slicker. The leather side does a good job of that. The other side doesn't do much at all. I would recommend the Tiger Shaft smoother and burnisher. At first I thought it a bit abrasive, but if used on the burnishing side only or both lightly you will polish the cue back up to a shine. What most people do is stay in one spot when what you need to do is rotate the cue as you move the tool up and down to eliminate over sanding a particular spot...you just have to be as detailed and precise as you are when your shooting. If you are unable to take the time pay someone else to do it as you will duff it everytime. Love takes care Love takes an eye!
Shaft Slicker

Best product of this type I have used.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Excellent burnisher.
By Denny from Hot Springs, Arkansas on August 23, 2010

This is an inexpensive but excellent product that will last for years. I do not like the minuscule chalk flakes on my hands or shaft during play. The Shaft Slicker is used after an inning or a game to remove this chalk dust to keep your shaft smooth. It is a non-abrasive product and will not damage you shaft.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Shaft Slicker
By Ed from Rochester on July 17, 2010

Great for cleaning the shaft off and preventing miscue. I use a closed bridge so getting rid of as much friction as possible is important and this does a great job of just that.
I would recommend this item to a friend.

This makes my wood cues feel smooth and slick.
great product
By Lewis from arlington va on December 24, 2009

fits perfectly in my 1x1 cue case pocket (dimensions are nearly perfect) so that it acts as a divider from the front of the pocket and back (segments pocket)! It's so bad ass cause it helps to keep my tip tools away from my glove...try it out! worth the money..
Wonderful pool accessories
By David from Artesia NM on December 20, 2009
