Not 11.75mm diameter
By Exxes from San Diego on April 26, 2012

The diameter is actually 11mm. Which is about 6% off. I'm not sure if this is the tolerance that is to be expected from the factory. However, the shaft is a fine product. Just remember the size your actually getting is 11mm.

wow
By Ian from NC on October 15, 2011

I read somewhere that one of these screwed into a broom handle would play like a Stradivarius in the hands of today's pros. After a couple of weeks with it, I'm inclined to agree. The down side is that I am now painfully aware of my deficiencies as a player, and there is no way I can blame poor leave or missed shots on sub-standard equipment.

Predator Z 2 shaft

INCREDIBLE!!! This is the second Z-2 shaft that I've purchased and I think eventually most of my cues will have a predator shaft on them. Worth every penny.

Great Shaft
By Leon from Arlington, Texas on July 30, 2011

I can see why most professional players hit with Predator products. This shaft has almost no deflection. It is a little stiffer than I expected but I adapted to it very quickly. I have not wanted to play with my old shaft since I got the Z 2nd Generation. It seems to have a Euopean taper like the 1st Generation until you get about 3 inches from the tip. From there the taper holds true at 11.75 cm. The Everest tip seems to be adaquet but I may change to a Kamui later. It was a great choice for me.

Amazingly Accurate, this Z2 is a sure shot..
By Cate from Pittsburgh, PA on April 9, 2011

This is my favorite shaft,,Ive won many tourneys, and also a Pittsburgh 9-Ball Championship with this baby,, almost zero deflection, and spits english with ease,, now the smaller taper and tip of the shaft can be challenging to those use to a traditional 13mm, but with time I guarantee, youll improve at least 3 balls more per rack . ..

Excellent, Excellent... and Excellent!
By Johnny from Indianapolis, Indiana on March 13, 2010

This shaft does everything as claimed and more! I have been playing for 40+ years and have used a lot of different shafts and this Z2 is the best I've ever used for my style of play. I'm no expert but, I can detect -0- deflection until I reach close to "mis-cue" english. I have to disagree wth some reviews that there is a "learning curve" with this shaft. There is nothing to learn! The cue ball goes were you aim it without regards to the english applied. My draw has picked up about 50% more distance and the position play is better as well. The thinner taper of the shaft gives you a feel of more control over the cue ball. With this shaft, the average player can easily pick up 1, 2... maybe 3 more balls per rack!
P.S. Ozone Billiards and their staff have been steller with my transaction and purchase of this shaft.
By rick from springfield mo. on February 16, 2010

this shaft takes geting used to adjusting from a regular cue takes time but it will come and it will be a good investment in the end
