Hardwood shims
By Marshall from Manchester, TN on September 14, 2010

Excellent hardwood shims make for easy leveling. Buy a ton, you never know how many you'll need. I only needed around 5-10, but a bad table may need many more.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Perfect

These shims are perfect. They allow for a nice transition from one slate to the next. Even if the table settles these allow for easy adjustments to keep the slate level.
Perfect for the JOb!
By Sarah from Knoxville,TN on April 18, 2010

You may think o I can find these exact shims at the hardware store but the truth is that they cost more there and are much bigger and harder to work with if you are leveling your slate don't forget these because they are the perfect size do a great job at staying in place. Highly recommended
It's a shim.

Nice, small shims for cheap. They work great. If you need to level your slate, buy them!
Wood Shims

It is as advertised,
By william coburn from virginia on February 11, 2010

sturdy shim but pay for each. Better than buying large (long) shims not designed for tables. Buying one each insures quality versus a bag of shims.
wooden wedges
By Dominic from Tacoma, WA on September 29, 2009

these wooden wedges are perfect for the leveling of the slate. The fine point of the wedge makes it easy to get them into place dispite the wieght of the slate. They are a hard wood that do not compress. Insuring a long lasting balance on the table.
Pros:
Hard wood, no compression, fine point.Cons:
these are indavidual wraped in plastic. making it a time consumer if you order several.I would recommend this item to a friend.
