I would recommend this item to a friend. Very good buy for the price By Corey from New Jersey on January 23, 2011 This is a very good cue for the price. Cue feels good and solid.
I would recommend this item to a friend. Simple and Beautiful By MJ from Austin, TX on January 5, 2011 This cue is for a player who lets their game do all the talking. I bought this cue for my dad, who has shot pool for more than 40 yrs. Like him, it is simple, hearty, and well made. Good cue for the money, and a little engraving will not only add the right amount of character, it'll keep the patrons from mistaking it for a house cue. Solid feel and beautifully structured. If this is your price range, this is definitely the cue to buy.
I would recommend this item to a friend. Plaerys SPSPD By glen from Joliet, IL on February 8, 2010 Having recently gotten back to the table after 5 or 6 years away, I wanted to get an inexpensive cue that didn't feel like it was out of a megastore toy department. I tried this cue out at a local store and then purchased it from Ozonebilliards.com. It was surprisingly solid--it hit solid and had a great feel to it. The joint was a tiny bit noticeable and while I was used to the 3/8-10 inch pins when I played ages ago, the 5/16-18pin was tight. Overall, it played and felt better than the cue my friend just spent $100 on.
This was one of the cues suggested by the Ozone Sales staff, and it is a solid and serviceable cue. It was much better than I expected, and has a fantastic warranty for the money. I would absolutely recommend this cue to anyone who was a casual player, wanted to get back into the game but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars, or someone who wasn't concerned with flash and ostentation. I have recommended it to 2 friends and it really is a nice cue--solid, well made and has a nice balance.
Good solid cue - great for a break cue By richard on February 1, 2010 This cue is beautiful. don't let the sneaky pete design fool you. The hit is very solid. It has a real crack when striking the cue ball. It makes an awesome break cue.
Surprisingly Solid Cue By glen from Joliet, Illinois on January 28, 2010 I recently started playing again and I decided to get a pair of cues, one to break and one to play. I wanted something unassuming, not flashy, and figured this was an inexpensive way to knock the rust off and it would make a nice break or back-up cue--but I find myself playing with this cue more and more. It isn't perfect, the balance is a bit high for me, and the smaller joint screw worries me, but overall it is a solid cue and plays straight and solid. I would recommend it to anyone who wasn't sure what they wanted and/or they didn't want to spend at least $100 or so for something with a lifetime guarantee.
Players Cue SPSPD By David from Laramie, WY on January 1, 2010 I bought this cue as a gift for my younger brother. He tells me he is thoroughly satisfied with the cue. Says it hits true, has a smooth feel, and has improved his game.
