best made and playing cue forv the price
By robert hebel from nazareth p.a. on April 1, 2014
much more durable than cues double the price for those that prefer 13mm tips a solid choice wouldn't use as a preak cue put the proper tip on and and by two of these compared to cues more than twice the price

have owned the cue for a year now and still plays as great as when i first bought it, probably played somewhere around 200-300 games with it so far. as soon as i pick it up, i just feel a boost of confidence. also i dont find many other cues with birdseye maple for this price.

Great Cue, Great Customer Service
By Jacky from New York, NY on December 4, 2013
This cue is really beautiful.
I ordered a 20oz cue but received a 21oz one. This problem was solved by customer service very quickly. Thanks Ozone Billiards.

BTW, I should mention that the wrap is double-stressed Irish Linen. It has a different feel with Irish Linen.

Gorgeous Cue Stick!
By Lisa from Austin, Texas on December 2, 2013
I am so impressed with the quality of your products. The cue stick I ordered is absolutely stunning! I can't wait to give it to my husband for Christmas...my only regret is that the engraving is so very small I can't see it well.

Again, love your products and already refered a friend who is buying as well for her husband.

Great Cue! Awesome Value!
By Lou from Napanoch, NY on March 19, 2012
I wanted to find a good quality cue for under $100 and someone recommended Players. After looking at all the Players cues at Ozone, I selected this one. Ozone shipped it so fast, I couldn't believe it. Ozone rocks! And so does this cue. The actual color, though, is a little darker than in the photo. It's still gorgeous though. I upgraded the tip to a Tiger Everest and had it shaped and I'm loving this cue. Thanks Ozone!

Great Gift
By Tiffany from Tucson, AZ on December 28, 2011
Bought this as a X-mas gift for my momma who just recently bought herself a table for home. I had it customized with engraving and a shaft turn down to 12mm. It was shipped in a matter of hours (literally) and arrived well packaged and perfect! My mom is very pleased with the cue and now wants to get the matching C955 (in blue) for my dad

Great cue
By chris from murfreesboro,tn on October 14, 2011
I've been playing pool casually in bars and such for about a year. I decided to take the game more seriously and began looking for a cue. The players cue was in the range for what I wanted to spend and seemed like a great stick for someone relatively new to the game. Once I got it, I immediately noticed that my game was better. My consistency was better and so was my accuracy and cue control. For the price and quality, this was a great buy.

Amazing cue for the price
By Gary from Ithaca, NY on October 3, 2011
I recommend Players cues to all people who want sub $100 cues. They have a nice locking joint, solid wood shaft, and it looks sleek. I'd recommend upgrading from the Le Pro tip. This C960 cue in red is great and I would recommend it as a great starter cue for someone who wants to get away from the stock house cues. I ordered the C955 (the same cue but in blue instead of red) for my girlfriend and she loves it as well. This C960 cue was for a friend who wanted to upgrade, but was unsure of what to get for under 150 dollars.

Beautiful cue!
By Christian from Berkeley, CA on September 2, 2011
Out of the box this cue is absolutely stunning. The blood red detailing is wonderful, the grip is comfortable, and it plays exponentially better than any house stick. Plus, it was delivered exactly on the estimated day. A must buy for those looking for a solid beginners cue.

Good stick, minor issues
By Mikael Sanasac from Fayetteville, AR on August 29, 2011
This is my first stick and I've played about 200 games on it so far. I have noticed quite a bit of improvement and consistency in my game, the stick feels well balanced and is easy to shoot with. It has a very slick look and I get comments on it all the time (even from the few rated players in my area.) I got the upgraded hard case as well which I'm happy about, it looks very good and I feel a lot more comfortable bringing it into a bar. I also purchased the Kamui black medium tip and I don't really think I'm good enough of a player to really realize the difference, however english is very smooth and miscues are few and far between.

One minor issue and one slightly worse issues.

Minor: There is a very stubborn sticker at the bottom of the cue which you will have to use alcohol to remove.

Worse: There was a bubble in the lamination just above the grip about half the size of a dime. It doesn't effect performance but it ruins the look of the stick in my opinion.

Overall: Good cue, very glad I purchased it.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Players cues are excellent to play pool as well as 3 cushion carom (to do so I prefer the 12 mm tip) . I fell this cue as good as any about the $300.oo in price. It's looks is great.

I am a beginner pool player, and am very happy with this cue. I bought one for myself and 3 more for my groomsman as presents for helping with the wedding. Everyone was very pleased with them and the engravings were sharp and correctly spelled.

The Players C960 is a very good cue,in fact all the cue you need.Players cues are very consistant in shaft tapers on all their cues.Action cues are good, but I noticed different shaft tapers on the same cues.Plus you get lifetime warranty. If you are not caught up with big name hype then get a Players cue,you can`t go wrong.

WOW - Absolutely Amazing
By Michael from New York, NY on March 3, 2011
This was the 3rd cue I have purchased and I can say without a doubt I love it. I ordered the 19oz I got it with a Kamui Black soft tip (for the record I weighed it on a digital scale that goes to tenths of an ounce and it was exactly 19.0 oz). Ordered on Sun and arrived on Wed to NYC. Immediately went out after work to my regular bar where the players are primarily APA players ranked 4-6. I am a 4. On a normal night if I am shooting well I am happy to win 3 games in a row. Last night I won 11 in a row and 13 of 15. Today at lunch won 3 of 4 and only lost the one because I got sloppy on the 8. Suffice it to say I am rather happy with this purchase. Definitely upgrade the tip, well worth the $15-$20.

Also, this is an absolutely gorgeous cue and the picture does not do it justice. The red is a deep blood color and the cue has a classic Art Deco appearance that cannot be appreciated in the picture.

The only cons were trivial. There was an old sticker on the very bottom of the stick that was a major pain to remove, had to use acetone to get all the nasty glue off. The shaft had 3 or 4 minor dings that needed to be buffed out with a shaft slicker.

Bottom line is that for under $100 you will be hard pressed to find a better cue/tip combo.

Very nice first cue
By Jesse from New York, NY on August 19, 2010
This is my first cue, and as a beginner/intermediate player, I think it's a great fit at a good price. It has a nice black linen-wrapped grip, and a very rich burgundy color for the butt end of the shaft. The standard Le Pro tip is nice, but if you're a little more professional than maybe a tip upgrade is worth it, too.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Players Cue - C960
By Lisa from Steger, Illinois on July 13, 2010
Very well balance cue and looks good too! The taper is just perfect. I ordered the upgraded Cue Case and saved so much money. I really wanted that case and all the shops that I went to wanted over $100.00 for it. All in all, Fantastic Deal!

I would recommend this item to a friend.

I'll beat you and your $800 cue, with my $66.39 cue! (+ accessories =P)
By Lewis from Arlington VA on May 27, 2010
You could not ask for a better deal on a cue if you are a entry level pool player. A great cue for the casual to moderate pool player. All the material is made of real wood, and the cue is straight! The balance on the cue is superb-- very well distributed. You know the cue is well balanced when it feels much lighter than the equal weight house cue (which is bottom heavy by the butt). The even distribution on the C960 allows the cue to feel lighter than it is, which equates to greater control and finesse, allowing you to deliver more accurate strokes/action without any loss of weighted-power. The 5/16 x 18 pin joint is a great connector that allows a solid transfer of the "hit" through the shaft to the butt where your stroke hand is.

(Hit is the impact felt after striking the tip to the cue. It is an important element of feedback which allows you to "feel" more of action so that you can adjust to the stroke.)

I highly recommend the upgrade to hard case! It is so much better than my single cue hard case! The material is top knotch, almost looks like a lizard type of skin.

My specs on the C960
19oz
13mm standard
Upgraded hardcase
Kamui Black Medium

(I also ordered Black master caulk, Sir Joseph gloves, Tip pick, Caulk holder, Cue Silk, Porpers "Shalf Polisher", Sil Kleen.) --All very worth the few extra bucks.

19oz
I got the 19oz for more control from being lighter, 19oz is still heavy enough to allow straighter stroke, and still packs a punch with less effort. IMPORTANT - Don't forget, there is a bolt inside the butt under the rubber stopper. You can remove it with an allen wrench! This takes away atleast another 1oz to 2oz! As your stroke progresses, you can lighten this or remove it completely! This makes your cue more customizable and versatile!

13mm
Thicker shaft makes it easier to open and close bridge. The roundness gives it more surface area to slide across your bridge hand, so it offers more control at the slight sacrifice of "action" control. (Even some pro's use 13mm, it's all about controlling your stroke). Starting at 13mm allows you to shave down if you want to. You can't grow from 11.5mm back to 13mm!! =P

Kamui Black Medium
This is the most Bad-Ass tip you can have in the game. Makes this cue play even better. The standard Le Pro tip it comes with it great as well, but this allows this cue to be "mine". Gives great spin control and lasts long! There is none better!

Hardcase
Don't be a newb with a soft case! Plus, this case is high quality!

The extra accessories are a must. I have written reviews on those individually as well. Good shooting!
