Glad I bought the skinny

Recenty I bought the HXT Skinny 11.75mm for my Players HXT 99. I liked the 12.75mm shaft that came with the stick, but wanted to try the slimmer shaft. Since then I feel I have more que ball control. I feel I am more accurately striking the cue ball.
I remember back in the 60's when I played a lot of 9 ball and straight pool the better players used a 12mm shaft.
I am happy with the shaft quality and KBS tip that came with the shaft.
I think this shaft for that price is a great deal. On the whole I think Players sticks are great products for the money...

It is so much easier to get a feel around the skinny, it has much better control and the soft tip just adds to a better shot, I have short fingers so this works great in my case.

Amazing shaft for a great price

This shaft is amazing for the price, it hits very solid due to its one piece construction and has great feedback. It also has very low deflection, much more so than the regular 12.75 mm diameter. Only issue people might not like is the skinny pro taper, if you have big hands then it will be very uncomfortable.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
