Probably not much one can say about plastic tally balls unless there is a defect, jagged edges, missing balls or over-pricing. None of the above occured for me. I got all 16 balls, each smooth and uniform, and the price is unbeatable. If you're okay with red plastic in lieu of wood (and I am), I recommend.

There are a couple of problems associated with pea balls. They are easily lost and after a time become worn rendering the numbers hard to read. This is an excellent replacement or initial set and very economically priced. A complete set of 16 plastic Tally balls for Pea Pool (aka Tally, Kelly or Pill pool) is included. They can be used for drawing tournament play order, determining break honors, etc. The Tally bottle isn’t included, and must be purchased separately.

The tally balls are solid "red" with white numbers. Not as nice looking as the ones displayed in my opinion, but they work just the same. Attaching picture of what was sent.

These pills are great. We use them daily for a year and the numbers are still there and as bright as day one. And they are better than writing numbers on paper, and drawing them from a hat.
