Score would have been 5 stars except for the case. The fuzzies immediately began going everywhere upon opening the package. The cue is perfect for the 9 year old. But, The case has not stopped shedding clumps of fuzz even after brushing it. I even trimmed it back with scissors to get to the zipper which get stuck on the fuzzies. The bag looks cute but don't buy it. Not practical and you will be cleaning your Simonis cloth forever since the fuzz goes airborne. I would recommend the cue but with a different case.
