Add challenge and interest to your billiards.
By Jack from Georgetown, KY on June 3, 2012
This is an excellent book to add to your pool / billiard collection. Must players are only familiar with 3 - 5 games. This book provides beaucoup variations on existing games plus a multitude of new games. This helps to keep your interest in playing and provides new challenges to you both physically and mentally. A must for any true enthusist.

Not enough pictures
By Tony from Butte, MT on May 31, 2012
The rules for almost all of the games I know are in the book as well as a couple of hundred I never heard of. That's the good part. The really bad part is there are not enough diagrams or pictures. For example I tried to follow the rules for Balk Line Billiards, but the rules don't make much sense without actually seeing some balls in play (it does show a table with the balk lines). Also, I played a lot of pill pool in WV and didn't see any of those games in the book.
like a database

The book intended to cover everything, and the end result of these kind of attempts have been the crowding of contents, difficult to understand pictures and unappealing look. The book stays on my bookshelf. I admit though that the cover of the book has a nice retro look
