Very nice playing shaft. Does not put too much spin on the cue ball like a Predator shaft does. Nice soft hit with predictable english. Great all around playing shaft. Nothing unexpected happens when playing with this shaft. I played with it for fifteen minutes and felt comfortable with it. Banking with the OB-1 and Predator seems to be not as predictable as with a standard shaft however. I believe the extra spin you get with these high performance shafts affects the bank shots. With more playing time I believe I will understand it more fully.
I would recommend this item to a friend.

I've played with a Predator Z shaft and I intended to buy a 314-2 when I bought my new stick if I didn't like the stock shaft...which I didn't. A couple friends shoot with OB shafts and they love them. Since they're also less expensive than Predators I figured I'd give it a try.
To make a long story short, it's a great shaft. If you're looking for a shaft upgrade you won't be disappointed in an OB. You may find that you have to alter your game a bit. While you may have been forcing the cue ball to do things with your old shaft (even if you didn't realize it) you'll find things happening a bit more easily and naturally with an upgrade to an OB.
