HUGE upgrade
By Schuyler from Minneapolis, Minnesota on November 14, 2010

I decided to get serious about pool about a month ago after not playing for about 2 years. I played a lot when I was in high school, and I still had the old Cuetec I bought back then. I did a lot of research when looking for an upgrade, and I decided to buy a Predator 314-2 shaft. When I contacted Ozone to ask which shaft I needed, they were very helpful and recommended the OB-1 since Predator doesn't make shafts for Cuetec. I love the OB-1, and it's been a huge upgrade from the shaft that I had. I did some tests on the pool table, and the amount of adjustment I need to make for deflection over the span of the table is almost nil, compared to the 1/2 to full ball deflection with my old shaft. The taper is a bit different from my old shaft, but it feels really good and plays solidly. The Moori tip upgrade was also totally worth it. Now I really have no excuse for playing badly. 110% happy with this purchase. Many thanks to the knowledgeable and friendly people at Ozone Billiards.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Awesome shaft

I\'ve played with house cues, graphite cues, the Predator 314 shaft and now the OB-1 shaft. This shaft gives just the right amount of flexure to provide maximum english with minimum squirt. And the factory warranty support is the best bar none.
