this is the best tip i have found so far. expensive, but sometimes you get what you pay for. lasts longer than other tips i have used. does not mushroom as much. holds chalk good and does not miscue. i get good english and consistent ball control. holds shape well. i have tried other tips but this is my favorite.

Moori Quick tips provide me with the most consistent english of any tip on the market. My game has improved 10 fold since I started using them. Thank you oZone Billiards for the excellent price and quick shipping to allow me to repair my Cue in time for the weekend tournament.

Moori Hard 11 Layer Pool Cue Tip ~ Excellent Quality
By Eugene from Clovis, CA on February 10, 2011

This Moori Hard pool cue tip has held its shape very well and has not mushroomed, so it's very durable. It takes and holds chalk very good. It produces a hard solid hit. The control and performance of the tip is fantastic and it's very consistent.

Hands down amazing

A friend of mine, who's dad used to be a semi pro player, got him one of these tips for his cousins cue. Definitely one of the best tips out there. If you can place the cue ball 4 rails after a medium-hard shot for placement, then that says enough right there. Don't waste your time checking any more reviews, just buy yourself one. I'll be purchasing one for my McDermott here in a few days. Can't wait!

I went from an Everest Medium to a Moori Hard tip - Love the Moori
By "Stoney Creek Slim" from Wintergreen, VA on August 6, 2010

I was playing with an Everest Medium hardness tip on a Z2 shaft and needed to replace it so decided to try a Moori Hard. I also bought another Everest just in case I didn't like the Moori. The old Everest was probably hardened over time. The Moori feels similar to the hardened Everest but also feels better probably because of the thickness of the new tip as compared to the worn down Everest. I liked the Everest but think the Moori plays better when new.

Superior Tips
By Mike Z from Bridgeton, NJ on April 25, 2010

Recently I re-tipped all my cue shafts (3) with Moori Hard tips, and I was surprise do find how well they seem "grab" the cue ball when applying English. That was very apparent the first time I attempted to draw the cue ball back ~6" and it went ~2 feet. I now see that I must modify the extent to which I use English to better control the cue.
The only disadvantage I can find (if it really is a disadvantage) is that the raw tip diameter & shape required me to have the shafts re-tipped professionally to ensure the tips were properly sized and shaped to the cue, which represents an additional cost as I normally replace my own tips.
