Mezz engineers have loaded even more power and accuracy into the Power Break cue, by including their Deep Impact Technology. When your stroke breaks down from the excessive speed needed for the break shot, you start striking the cue ball off target. This leads to off-center hits on the rack, which can leave you out of position, or at the mercy of table rolls. Worse, the cue ball can jump off the table and your opponent begins the game with ball in hand. The solution is to have both power and control. Try the Power Break with the Deep Impact shaft to increase your break ability. The Power Break Cue Features:
Black Stained Laminated Composite Wood Butt 13mm 29" Deep Impact Shaft with DI Taper

Best night of breaking in my life! By Joel from NYC on March 13, 2012 I've had my cue for about two weeks. My first effort to break with it launched the cue ball off the table. A friend of mine tried: same results. I flattened out my stroke and have been crushing it ever since. In a league match tonight (a mix of 8ball and 9ball), I broke 5 times, dropping 8 total balls, including at least one ball on every rack.
And it sure doesn't take long to get used to the sound of the sonic tip hitting the cue ball.
I would recommend this item to a friend. good feel By Brian from California on November 28, 2009 This is a well built break cue. The joint may be one of the best I've ever seen from a production cue.
The weight feels very good at 21 oz, not butt heavy, but a very well balanced feel for having a weight bolt.
Only bad thing could be the tip. Looks and feels like a phenolic tip. If you like to control the cue ball on the break
you might need some extra practice with it but if you just want to unleash your POWER BREAK, then it should be fine.
Pros: Solid tight joint.
Looks nicer in person, very pretty and sleek.
Good price, well built...
Cons: maybe the tip but I'm sure it can be changed. Some leagues ban phenolic tips for the break cue.
