The McDermott's Stinger Jump Break Cues is the top choice for players jumping and breaking situations. It features the patented Stinger Tip and Ferrule Technology that projects downward through a hole in the center of the ferrule. On impact, the shock of the hit goes to the center of the tip, and then down the stinger, transmitting the impact directly to the center of the shaft. This results in a very efficient and very precise hit. Also featured is the enormous "sweet spot" because the Stinger technology takes the hit energy to the center of the shaft regardless of where you hit the tip, our tip can be much flatter than typical break cues. You can miss-hit by quite a bit and still get the result you intended. This Jump Break and Play cue includes a G Core shaft and a McDermott's jump handle with a lightweight design that's perfect for your close jump shots. Play like a pro with the Stinger Technology - Jump Easier, Break Harder, Shoot More Accurate and Play with Control. The Stinger NG05 Jump Break Cue Features:

Very amazed with the action on the stinger shaft. not very impressed with the tip on the G-core shaft. Would have been a five star except for that.

Worth every penny. Breaks pocket balls every time. G-Core shaft has a blemish in the finish or I would have gave it 5 stars.

I bought this as a Jump Break Cue and have an extra shooting shaft. My new shooting cue has not shipped so I have been using this as a shooting cue. The G Core shaft is amazing. I get a lot of action on the ball.

Stinger breaks very nicely. This is an absolute bargain for the price with the extra G Core shaft and jump handle. I'm sinking 1 to 3 balls every break now as opposed to using a house cue for breaking.

I bought this set here a couple years ago for around $250 but its still a great deal. The Stinger breaks very hard with a good amount of control. The jump handle works great but I usually just break it down at the jump joint because its a lot quicker than messing with the 3/8-10 main joint. For the same reason, I ended up buying an entry level Star/McDermott and putting the G Core shaft on it. Oh yeah, the G Core plays great, especially with a new Kamui tip on it!

First of all, it's a great deal. Extra shaft is very handy, while the jump handle is a cherry on the top of the cake. I noticed that I don't use the handle a lot, because jumping is fairly easy with just the top part. It's a solid break cue. In my opinion, this cue is the best break cue before "pro class" break cues like Predator BKs
