It features the patented Stinger Tip and Ferrule Technology that projects downward through a hole in the center of the ferrule. On impact, the shock of the hit goes to the center of the tip, and then down the stinger, transmitting the impact directly to the center of the shaft. Breaks fairly, jumps great Keren from Urbana, IL on October 26, 2012 I bought this cue about five months ago. This cue does the job I expected. You can feel the difference when you break with it. It also makes very solid jumps, should thank to the stinger tech I suppose. The only defect with the one I received is the weight bolt in the butt gets loose very often, so I have to screw it back to tight time after time. Beside the product, one thing I especially want to mention is the great customer service. Not to mention the quick shipping as everybody knows, after I made the order, I sent them an email saying that I want to add a small box of master chalk in my order and then they just put it in without any charge. Then I know where their reputation comes from. Good job!

The quick release joint gives the hit a hollow feel when you break that is a little off-putting, but breaks the balls just fine. It looks very similar to a house que, so I am a little weary of it getting picked up and used by someone else
fair cue. should be 2 1/2 stars. Richard from wichita falls on May 2, 2012 I got this cue extremely fast ozone did a great job. I un wrapped the cue put it together and first off i noticed the stinger shaft and the butt are different colors of wood. Next I noticed the quick release bottom butt has a millimeter gap between the 2. This may be common in jump/break i dont know. Also doesnt have a taper like my play cue but I can understand it needing the extra strength. Good news is it breaks well. The best thing is how well this cue jumps. I was really amazed. All in all I think next time ill spend the extra money and get the same brand as my play cue.
Nice Solid Hit Richard from Wilmington, DE on March 21, 2012 I love this cue, got it in the 19 oz weight and it breaks really good without a lot of effort. I have knocked the 8 ball in on the break a few times with this cue and come close a number of other times. Plus it looks a lot nicer in person than it does in the picture.

Now, I am totally a believer in my Stinger ! It has a solid balanced hit. What exactly does that mean because prior to my purchase I didn't understand what a solid hit really was. I used to try to blast the rack in 8 & 9 ball with all my might ! The stinger's feel enables me to put less brute force into my stroke, better control and still get a great reaction upon stroking the cue ball. I got a 21 oz Stinger and I love the weight and balance of the cue. I plan to add a wrap to my stinger because I purchased it without one. Ozone gave me a great value in the purchase of this model and free shipping. I strongly endorse the Stinger and Ozone as a great value provider for all billiards supplies and equipment.
