Just got it, and love it. The stick is both gorgeous and classy looking, and I already feel like I'm playing better. I definitely have more control over the more delicate shots, and more accuracy on the long shots.

This cue was even more beautiful in person and has a great feel on the table. Still getting used to the g core shaft but performs in an outstanding manner. Hardly any deflection, but I still compensate sometimes. This is my second McDermott cue and I'm loving every game with it. Wouldn't trade it for anything, especially a muecci!

This is my daily shooting cue and I cannot say enough about it. This cue is understated enough not to be gawdy but beautiful enough so that you always want to admire it. While I do have to say that I am not a very big fan of stock McDermott shafts as they aren't that great at creating action, I have upgraded my Dubliner to have an OB1 shaft and I cannot imagine a better stick for any price now. I can create shots that before I would have never attempted without this butt/shaft combination. I have shot with way more expensive cues and I still would never want to get another stick(except for the Dubliner cue of the year but that costs a bit much for me).
