Works fine if you glue it. If not it will fall off after a few uses.

Best tool and now last forever. the inserts are sticky but add a little glue and they will hold until you change them again. But they last a long time so its not that often. A++++

Difficult to make them stick to the slick surface but if you clean tip tool they will stick.

This is the larger pad, I trimmed so it would also fit in the small cup. I still had to use glue to get the sanding pad to stick.

I had high hope for these inserts. I have had my tool for many years now and I havent been able to use it cause i couldn't find the inserts. So seeing these for the first time I got very excited. I got them at in the alloted time. I cleaned out the tool with rubbing alcohol like I was suppose to, and when I tried to install them they were not sticky enough to stick to the metal. I am either going to have to try super glue with it or ruff up the metal to see if they will stick. So needless to say I am very unsatisfied!!

loved the tool when it was new. don't prefer it anymore. even if you clean the tool with alcohol or acetone the inserts just wont stick and stay.
Replacement Shaper Inserts for the Master Tip Tool

This is an inexpensive replacement abrassive insert disk for the Master Tip Tool, and it works great. An insert lasts for quite some time if the user is careful and uses light pressure. 40 cents a disk is really economical.

Not really impressed with unit. First, go with the less expensive plastic model. Second, the inserts don't last after one good use ? Last, the other features are just OK at best. Nothing will blow you away when compared to other tools.
