Great first cue

I bought this stick for my 8 yr old son thinking it would be a good first cue. I can't believe how great it hits. I have owned serveral cues over the years Hubler Viking Mali and this stick hit as well as any of those cues. It has a solid sound something I did not expect from a cue this price.

Excellent stick, had the shaft turned to 12.75mm for a little more english also put a moori3 med tip on and got it in 21 oz. to help with the break. I'm just a beginner but I get 1 or 2 balls in on almost every break.

Lost my expensive McDermott cue due to some sticky fingers. Didn't want to spend another $400 to replace it. I thought this might be a good alternative and I was right. Doesn't have all the inlays or look like a fancy stick. Arrived on time and plays well, no complaints. Great price for a decent cue!!!

Fabulous Starter Cue

Gave this stick (18 oz.) as a gift to my daughter, who is a league beginner. Was amazed to find a McDermott at that price. Beautiful joint and a good looking stick. The linen wrap isn't exactly flush on the butt (not enough for a beginner to notice nor is it a distraction) but, it's still very presentable and acceptable given the price. Just a gorgeous cue for 45 bucks.
