An OK Stick
March 5, 2012
Received this cue this weekend, immediately ran down to the local pool hall to test drive it.
I was disappointed upon receipt the tip end of the stick had no metal insert to receive the threaded butt end. It was merely milled (threaded) wood. This was apparent during play, as the stick seemed to have more flex than it should have had. I'm also sure over time the threaded wood end will wear and the cue will eventually become unusable. I guess you get what you pay for. Other than that, good balance and very nice appearance.
FYI - I'm a 52 year old automotive engineer and have been shooting pool for over 40 years.
