Using this Lucky McDermott cue as a replacement while waiting for a cue to be repaired. It's not high end, but it'll get the job done and get the ball in the pocket. The best cue your money can buy for the low price guaranteed.
Don't expect perfection but it's a solid shooter. Remember, it's the player, not the equipment! :)

the cue is fine and straight. it plays as well as any but unless you are going to use it for a break-cue, CHANGE THE TIP IMMEDIATELY. the tip that comes with the cue is WORTHLESS. i'd just as soon they sent it sans tip than have that thing glued to it. it's harder than a 14yo boy in a brothel and totally ruins the hit of this wood-joint cue. i was wondering why it hits so harsh and after i changed that tip, all was well.

I am very satisfied with this cue. I have played with a number of cues in the $200-$400 range that belong to friends and other players and I can honestly say that I cannot tell a difference in the feel of this cue. The wood to wood joint gives you that nice solid feel when you shoot. I upgraded with the 12mm shaft and for only $75 total I am very happy with my purchase.

A decent cue for the price with the McDermott name. Great for a casual player that wants to have a nice cue, but doesn't want to spend the money for a more expensive cue because he just can't play enough.
