The Junior Shark Guiding Wheel helps protect pool table felt from scrapes & rips and prevents kids from harpooning the ball.  In addition, it assists novice players and players with disabilities by helping to guide their stroke!  Another great use for players of any skill level  is it can be used in place of a bridge for those hard to reach shots.

The Junior Shark Guiding Wheel is placed on top of the cue stick and pushed down to where the ferrule ("the white tape-looking part") joins the taper of the cue stick shaft. It is a snug fit, so it can be used on any size cue stick.

Adult supervision is still required and children under three years old shouldn't be allowed to handle the guiding wheels because they might choke on them.

Love this for my beginner granddaughter.

Okay
By Bill from Tampa, FL on January 31, 2014
Too high to hit center of cue ball. Single wheel does not give enough stability. Needs to be 2 wheels and shorter.

Outstanding Accessory
By Steve from Toledo, Ohio on January 31, 2014
Use the guiding wheel on my cue stick with my home table and it is much more convenient than a bridge. I have no idea whether this is acceptable for league or tournament play; but, I only use it at home. A friend is temporarily in a wheelchair following surgery and he thinks this guiding wheel is great. I'm looking forward to using this guiding wheel in the near future with 7- and 8-year old nephews.

Good for kids
By cm from sc on November 7, 2013
This product took a little practice with my kids. However it did help them get the pool stick off the table and helped from tearing up the felt. Would totally recommend for any household for with kids under the age of 8.

By Will from Caifornia on May 8, 2012
You can let the kids play and learn to keep the tip of the stick stable and you don't have to worry about them damaging the felt......

Does mostly what it should at an affordable price
By Brophog from Chicago on March 16, 2012
Sometimes you wish a product cost a little more rather than a little less and this is one of them. The device fits snugly on a standard 13mm pro taper stick. The problem is that the wheel is plastic and the clips that attach the wheel are plastic. Had this been even a simply axel the device would track smoother.

As it is, it works for children but for more serious considerations (such as one hand playing by an adult) the device needs to be a little more robust. A better designed wheel for twice the cost would be more appropriate and still budget minded.

GUIDING WHEEL - IT REALLY WORKS
By CC from CLOVIS, CA on March 10, 2012
I HAVE LOOKED ALL OVER FOR THIS GUIDING WHEEL. MY FRIEND HAD A MAJOR STROKE AND HE USE TO LOVE TO SHOOT POOL. I FOUND SOMETHING LIKE THIS IN A CATALOG FOR SPORTS EQUIPMENT FOR DISABLED PEOPLE BUT THEY NO LONGER SALE IT. IT REALLY HAS HELPED HIM TO START PLAYING POOL AGAIN. IT WAS ALSO ABOUT10 TIMES CHEAPER BUYING THROUGH OZONE BILLARDS.

Don't buy it.
By Larry Ingram from New Hope, PA on February 14, 2012
The field required me to rate it with stars. If up to me there would be zero stars for this product. Difficult to control. Understand the reasoning behind it. Just like training wheels for bikes. I purchased one for my 6 yo grandson and one for my 9 yo granddaughter. The children performed better, and learned faster, without it. Would not purchase again.

very helpful

Great For The Child Pool Player
By Edward from High Point, NC on September 7, 2011
This product allowed my daughter to use her pool stick in a way that allowed her to be able to shoot pool correctly. The fact that this product is such a great training aid allowed her to be able to shoot without any assistance.

hmmmm....so-so!
By Eddie from North Carolina on April 26, 2011
i bought this for my 8 year old daughter...she hates it. i was immediately disappointed when i received this. Although, i think it is well put together, i think it is way too lightweight. it just seems to be cheap feeling in your hand. It rolls very easy and very straight. My honest opinion is that it is a waste of 5 bucks.

Love
By KJ from ma on February 17, 2011
I have my 3 year old shooting (while im watching) and its saving my felt from getting scuffed. Its also a great tool if anyone wants to learn to shoot 1 handed.

Daughter getting better with it
By Jeremy from Maricopa, AZ on December 8, 2010
Bought this because my 7 year old always wants to play on the table too. However her lack of height caused leverage issues and in turn my fear for the health of my felt. It keeps her pretty level, but the wheel/axle combo not real high quality. What should I really expect for 5 bucks.

Also found it can take the place of a bridge for shorter players.

Amazing Assistant
By REG from BLACKSBURG., VA on October 7, 2010
Forget the kids this a great tool for adults too, for the price get enough for all your cues

Great for young players
By Elizabeth from Atlanta, GA on October 6, 2010
Works very well for young players! My 8 year old and 12 year old were able to understand the fundamentals of holding the cue and shooting the ball with this guide...best of all, my felt was spared! I like it so much that I need to get another one for any young guests we have the house!

I would recommend this item to a friend.

no good
By larry duke sr from sherwood oh 43556 on September 28, 2010
It was a good idea but who ever designed it didnt do a very good job it does raise your tip up high enough I bought 2 of these and imnot sastified with them to start with you have to rember thru the hole that it has a cueball is two and half or two and a quarter to the center and thats how high the hole center should be and it only slid on my predator 11 and a half mm shaft there are 14mm 13 mm12 and three quarter so now you know how to fix it

Lacks stability
By John M. Harlach from Cleveland, OH on September 27, 2010
When in need for an extension of your bridge the guiding wheel can be used, however, the basic fundamental of a good bridge is stability - the cue wheel lacks this attribute. I is difficult to keep the cue on line, any small deviation on the but end is dramatically amplified on the tip end.

paul's pool game
By paul glinton from florida on August 9, 2010
far shots i could just stand and shut with one hand

A Little Tricky....
By Michael R from , West Monroe, LA on July 6, 2010
It is kinda hard to keep it balanced on the wheel, and it doesn't work when cue ball is close to a rail,
but other than that it does excellent in the open table.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Good Price
By Arnie Gatto from So. Boston MASS. on June 18, 2010
This Item wheel is a little sloppy, but with the help of a " C " washer I was able to make it work a lot better.. Recomend it to the manafacture.. Mine works much better now

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Some Uses
By David from Dyer, NV on June 4, 2010
I shoot pool from a powered wheelchair, so usually use a bridge for the pivot. This guiding wheel is useful for some shots, but will not work for most shots. Also, only fits on a small diameter cue stick, e.g., < 12 mm.

Great for Kids
By jason from Booneville, Kentucky on February 9, 2010
Bought this for my kids and it has improved their stroke greatly.

You want this for your kids!
By Erik on February 3, 2010
This is *the* accessory you need if you have kids that are banging around your table. A very small investment to protect the big one. Plus it helps to teach the little ones where and how to bridge.

Great aid
By Jay from Boston, MA on December 22, 2009
Wonderful tool to assist my young son. The stick now stays level and he gets a true shot. Seeing the results after just a short time. Would highly recommend.

Lose the Bridge
By Eddie Jones from Tacoma,WA on October 29, 2009
I'm not sure if this is league Approved but it works so well that everyone wants one!
Pros:
Has a wheel thats flat that its real easy to balance and get a straight shot
easy clip on
sturdy
Cons:
none

Great product!
By Matt on October 15, 2009
I bought this for my 4 year old son. This has been a huge help in letting him learn the game of pool without fear of damaging the table and giving him a lot more confidence because it keeps the tip of the cue at the correct level and helps him learn how to keep the stroke smooth. It is a great teaching aid and he wants to play all the time because of it. I installed this on a short-cue that he uses.
Pros:
Great product and excellent idea!`
Cons:
Hard to get onto the cue. I would not plan on removing and putting this back on all the time. Best to be kept on the cue.
