Good beginner book

This book definitely covers the basics of pool playing. A true beginner could benefit in reading this book to get an clear understanding on topics such as stance, grip, equipment, bridges.....etc. If someone has an interest in getting into pool and knows nothing, this is the perfect book to give to them and at a 1.00 you won't worry if they keep it.

This book continues where "Pool Players Edge" by the same authors leaves off but has more informatiion and re-explains basic information with a lot of 'how to do it' senarios. It has great diagrams that are much easier to understand than most books on billiards. I would recommend these 2 books to anyone, especially to those who think they know it all.
The only complaint I had was the book has been damaged due to rough handling and not the best packaging. But I would buy from Ozone Billiards for the great service!!
