Many of our larger game tables and furniture items are too
big to ship regular freight such as UPS or FedEx. These items must ship by a FREIGHT TRUCK.
All the items that ship via truck freight are noted on each individual
item. Please make sure you review
all of the following instructions to ensure you have a full understanding of the
shipping and delivery process.
Our standard shipping via freight is CURBSIDE DELIVERY.
This means that the item that you ordered would be delivered to the
curbside and it is NOT the responsibility of the truck driver to unload or
assemble your shipment. It will be entirely your responsibility to remove the item
off of the truck and bring it inside. Your
shipment will be heavy and may require 2 or more people to unload the shipment.
The trucking company will call you in advance to schedule a
time of delivery. Typically, it
will be scheduled during business hours Monday-Friday and they will provide you
with a 2-5 hour window for delivery. It
will be very important that you keep your appointment and have the ability to
remove your shipment on your own. If
you do not keep the appointment or cannot remove the shipment on your own, the
trucking company will have to charge you for redelivery.
DAMAGE INSPECTIONS AND CLAIMS
When your shipment arrives, the most important step you
should take is to inspect the shipment for damage. If there is any noticeable damage, make sure that delivery
person notes it on the delivery receipt in full detail of any of the damages.
If there is extensive damage to the shipment, simply refuse the shipment
and contact us ASAP. In
addition, when you sign the delivery receipt for the shipment you should always
note “SUBJECT TO FURTHER INSPECTION” on the receipt.
It will be very important that once you unload your
shipment that you unpack it ASAP and do a full inspection on all parts to make
sure there is no concealed damaged. If
you discover any damage that was concealed once you unpack it, please contact us
ASAP to resolve the issue. Any
issues with concealed damages must be brought to our attention within 5 business
days so that we can resolve it in a timely fashion.
All of the items that ship via FREIGHT TRUCK will have
longer processing and delivery times than when it ships UPS.
You can expect that your shipment will typically leave from our warehouse
in 3-5 business days. After it
leaves our warehouse you can expect the shipment to take an additional 5-10 days
to arrive to your location.
