A whole rack of 8 Balls!

My wife and I play 8-ball on the same league team. She was recently raised in handicap from a 3 to a 4 and ever since, she had not won a match. She would run the table and make numerous misses on the 8! Many BLOGs are written that this is a mental block, but I too have observed (real or not) that the shot on the 8-ball is "different." For this reason, I bought 15 8-balls and for about a week, we would play using just the 8-balls. The very next week, my wife beat her opponent 3:0! I think shooting rack after rack of just 8-balls helped her got past this obstacle! At the price for these 8-balls, it's a very affordable way to practice your finishing shot!

Easy to cut!

I used this for my proposal to my now fiance. I cut the 8-ball to sit on top of the ring box and line up with the normal balls in the rack. It worked great! You could not tell it was not a normal ball.
From cutting it, I would have to say it is made of a plastic resin material.
Tried posting a picture but it seems to cause an error.

Great Economy Replacement for Stolen 8-Balls

I keep a few of these economy 8-balls on hand for when creative friends decide they're going to have their own souvenirs of the pool tournaments / parties I host. These replacement balls are cheap enough that I can buy one for everybody! Also, my tile floor is really hard on balls when they jump off the table. I like to have a couple extra cue-balls on hand just for this occasion. Ozone also sells replacement cue-balls of every quality level!

Gottlieb's Cue Ball Wizard pinball machine uses a real 8 ball and Cue ball on the playfield. I restore pinballs and this game was made in 1992 and the original balls were yellowed. These balls are a great price, fair shipping and work great in the game.
