best rack there is for 14.1 straight pool

if you're playing 14.1, there really isn't anything that competes with this rack. gets the full rack tight every time, all balls touching, and doesn't leave anything on the table like Magic Rack and other solutions, which is critical in straight pool where if a racking system throws either the cue ball or a rolling object ball even a fraction of an inch, you're outta luck. i love Magic Rack for 9-ball, but for 14.1, it's the Delta Rack every time.

I bought this rack to replace a old plastic one. It is more than I would like to pay, but it is a great rack and keeps the balls nice and tight.
As for the noise, I picked up a 6mm sheet of craft foam and double side tape and that quiets things down some. I've only had the rack for a couple of weeks, but no chipping. I understand that Delta has changed the paint to help prevent chipping.

This is a very durable rack that will maintain its shape for a life time. It is a bit noisy, but worth it.
I wish they had anodised the aluminum finish instead of the powder coat process they use.
The paint does, and will chip, unless you are very carefull placing the balls in it.
Last rack you will ever need.

This pool rack leaves no gap between balls - ideal for any table. It also makes a fun noise while racking...makes it more entertaining while I continue to lose to my boyfriend on our table!

Weakling can finely break a rack

I am a 67 year old lady who has a hard time breaking a rack. I couldn't believe it when I kind of scattered the balls over my table the first time I used it.

I love the Delta 13 Rack. It is a great rack and really gets the balls racked as tightly as possible! I would recommend this to anyone wanting a quality rack!
