By Robert from Binghamton, NY on June 23, 2011
Simply amazed with this product... couldn't believe how slick EVERY shaft i used it on became... I started with a q-wiz pad (both sides) then the sil kleen, then a porpers polisher pad, then the cue silk... my shafts are almost better than new...

Smooth Cue
By Yan from Houston, TX on June 6, 2011
it gave my cue a very smooth feel to it and it eliminated the need for chalk. the only thing is you have to let it sit for several hours before you can play again, or otherwise it just feels oily and greasy to the touch.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

ok product
By donuteric from Providence, RI on April 12, 2011
Cue Silk is designed to condition your shaft to give you a smooth feeling while stroking. This will do the job, but I prefer the CueTec conditioner much better. This product gives you more of an 'oily' feel, whereas other conditional products give you more of a 'clean' feel. Also, you need to leave the shaft out for a couple of hours after cleaning before you can really play.

Better Than Wax
By David from Live Oak, Florida on March 2, 2011
It is easier to carry CueSilk than wax. Sometimes after you have been playing in a tournament, your cue may becoe sticky and no matter how you try and wipe the shaft its still sticky. Put a couple drops of Cue Silk then buff it in with a paper towel and your "back in the game". Your sharft is slick as glass.

THIS STUFF IS GOLD
By Joel S. from Cromwell, CT on February 27, 2011
I love this stuff, i cant get enough. i use alot of talc, i have bad circulation=sweaty hands, and my shaft is always needing care, even midway thru the night. I use a light burnisher or even the proper leather cleaning pad, put a couple drops of this stuff on my cloth and rub it down, its like a brand new shaft, amazing!

By peter from , on January 29, 2011
I love it ! I use it after and some before play ..I used to use hand talc and other stuff and my sticks were dirty looking just in a short time. Now i use a clove and no talcs and have a better smoother stroke and I feel better on my game.. go play

Stop Shaft Drag On Your Bridge Hand!
By DR Mann from Mukwonago, WI on December 31, 2010
Applying Cue Silk to your shaft by placing a double one inch line of the Silk on a paper towel and making the initial wipe as a single stoke from the tip to the joint then working the line around the shaft. After the Silk is distributed wrap the towel around the shaft gripping with the hand and move up and down the shaft in a polishing motion. The result will be a shaft the will glide through the bridge hand with absolutely no drag. Using it on a recently purchased cue is also an excellent idea. Coating the ferrule with Silk before changing a tip can stop the glue from adhering to the ferrule cylinder surface.

Good
By Schuyler from Minneapolis, MN on December 7, 2010
Just to clarify what may not be completely obvious (it wasn't to me), Cue Silk is a conditioner, and Sil Kleen is a cleaner made by the same company. If you need to get a lot of chalk and grime off of your shaft, you'd probably want to use Sil Kleen, but be aware that there are abrasive particles in the liquid. Cue Silk is for the end of the cleaning process or maybe for light cleaning, and the liquid doesn't have any abrasive particles in it. I like Cue Silk quite a bit, but I'd only use Sil Kleen occasionally. Although the two of them make a nice combination for shaft maintenance.

Great product better then KY
By jeffrey from Raleigh, NC on June 3, 2010
This is a great product, easy to use, cleaner then powder and make friction a thing of the past. I purchased both the 2oz and the smaller size. The small size fits in a cue case with ease and last a while because each use is only a couple of drops, I use the 2oz to refill the small bottle.

By Robert on June 2, 2010

Cue Silk, cant live without it!
By Jonathan from Casper Wyoming on May 15, 2010
As always im a big fan of cue silk. Allot of people use water which can warp and damage your cue to clean it. Not me, water does not do justice after using cue silk.

Nice Product
By TigersFan from Georgia on May 10, 2010

Working well for the men's pool league
By Tracy A. Monahan from Ridgefield, WA 98642 on December 10, 2009

one drop is all you need
By Roger from Indianapolis on November 26, 2009
This stuff is a thick liquid and one drop rubbed on the shaft makes it slick. Seems to last quite a while. Good alternative to the messy talc. I use the Porper's "Shaft Polisher" as well and the combination works good for me.
Pros:
one drop works well
Cons:
small bottle

cue silk
By Logan from va on November 19, 2009
smooths the cue very well but it doesn't really remove stains at all.
