No more dents
By ED BEERS from e_r_beers@aol.com on December 18, 2013
I got this to give away as a prize for my league party. I have used one before and if done properly it works great. I am just alittle more careful about what I am doing now a days.

I had some minor dents in my R365 shaft and this would not get them out. I had to use sand paper and then applied some wax and after a few applications my shaft was like new again.

I wouldn't buy it . . . until I SAW IT WORK !!!
By The Bruiser from Santa Clarita, CA on April 15, 2013
A friend of mine took a couple of shots with my inexpensive ($200) McDermott cue and noticed some dings in the shaft. He then went over to his cue case and busted out his "Cue Doctor Dent Buffer". I had seen these on the web before but was unconvinced it would work. My friend convinced me to let him work a couple dings on my McDermott shaft. To my amazement, it actually worked. I now own a $2,000.00 Jacoby custom cue and I WOULD NOT HESITATE to use the "Cue Doctor Dent Buffer" on my expensive custom shafts. It is in my cue case at all times.

Wasted of Time Tool
By Jerry from Daphne, AL on February 18, 2013
For those of you who say this product works, you must be talking about very very minor dents; those too small to see. I have rubbed dents in my shaft for 30-40 minutes with very little, if any, results. I precisely followed the instructions on different cue sticks so that is not the problem. This product should be taken off the martket in my opinion.

Good Tool

There is nothing like it.
By Brent from Rancho Mirage,CA on February 12, 2013
Had my eye on this product and after a couple of years decided to get it as part of an order with Ozone. Glad I did. It got rid of about 90 percent of the small accidental dings on several of my shafts, that consistently bothered me for years. I would take the cue back and feel them so I would move the cue n my had so I would not feel them on every stroke. Now I don't have to do so. Nothing beats a cue with that brand new dent free feel. I also let a friend use it and he was amazed as well.

This works as described and WILL remove small dents and dings. Don't expect it to remove major gouges but the little blemishes will be a thing of the past.

Can't believe my eyes
By Michael from Connecticut on May 6, 2012
This tool is magic. I had a dent bothering me which I tried sanding down a few times but could not get rid of it. This tool made it vanish by rubbing the tool up and down quickly over the dent. Awesome!! Never leaving home without it. It is a must have in anyones pool case. Sure a beer bottle will work just as well but I like having a little tool to do the trick.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Dents and knicks a thing of the past
By Jeremy from Aiken, SC on May 2, 2012
I had a viking shaft I've been using for two years that had a good sized knick in it. The q-wiz wasn't quite enough to take it all down, and I don't like to sand paper my shafts. So I bought this tool, and presto, no more knick. Well worth the price to have this tool in your case

By RJ from Radford, VA on October 24, 2011
Works well, better than sand paper gets an even cover of the wood after sanding. Stands up using it several times, worth the $10 to use repeatedly to take out those annoying nicks.

Dent Buffer
By Brian from South Korea on September 27, 2011
Just do as the instructions say, and it does a great job at buffing dents away! Light pressure and rapid movements.. Takes a little time, but take the edge of bigger dents and smooths them away. Smaller ones almost disappear!

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Do not expect something miraculous!
By Bryan Mitchell from Newark, DE on September 21, 2011
This seems to work, but you are not very likely to remove major dents 100%. I do think it is worth having around, but you are not going to restore your $250, 314 shaft with this magic wand.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Awesome
By Kris from Prairieville, LA on June 25, 2011

By Vitor from StÂȘ Maria da Feira, Aveiro on May 18, 2011
I ordered this tool because my shaft had some scratches that really disturbed me when i was playing pool. After i used the Cue Doctor Dent Buffer, most of the scratches disapeared and the shaft is smooth as new again.

It works!
By Andrew from Newnan, GA on May 3, 2011
I was a bit skeptical about this thing. Had a few cues with nicks and dents in them that were a little distracting while shooting. This thing did not completely remove them, but it did smooth them out enough that they are barely noticeable now. I was quite impressed. It is a bit funny looking though.

Cue Doctor Dent Buffer ~ Borosilicate Glass Polishing Rod
By Eugene from Clovis, CA on April 7, 2011
This hardened borosilicate glass rod works great to burnish out nicks and scratches in the cue shaft. The glass rod is rubbed vigorously with light pressure until the cue shaft imperfections are polished out. The tool should be used slow and easy for good results.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

I like the results.
By Anthony from , modesto ca. on March 23, 2011

Impressed!!
By Russell from Sprng, TX on March 17, 2011
This tool will not remove the ding/dints from your cue................BUT I put this on my Lucasi and it made my cue so smooth it felt like it was turned on a lathe. Although the ding was not removed from the cue, it felt that way, Shot like a pro from then without feeling the ding...

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Repair my shaft mess-ups
By Mary from Oakland, CA on February 27, 2011
I put some nasty dings in my cue's shaft because I wasn't looking where I was going. This pretty much got them all out except the worst one, which it appreciably lessened.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Seems to Work!
By Dave from Bozeman, Montana on February 26, 2011
I used it on the end of a cheapo break cue I use. The shaft had "dents" at the end from the tip clamp I'd used on it, and the dent buffer was able to lessen the dents to the point that they no longer can be felt when shooting. It was easy to use and only took a few minutes to greatly improve the feel of the shaft.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Cue Doctor Dent Buffer
By Dencio Vincent from San Jose, CA on February 22, 2011
The tool is simple to use. When I first used it, I did not realize there were more dents in the cue shaft than I realized. Within a short time, I was able to run the tool over the cue without feeling any dents.

better than sanding but not as effective.

not bad
By Paul from Chicago, IL on January 17, 2011
If you have a big dent you won't erase it but you'll make it MUCH less annoying... I used a combo of steam from a tea pot and this thing (don't ever stand a stick up near your drunk friends chair). The mid to little ones do pretty much disappear. BTW - this is not some form of osmosis, it just seems to compress the area to "erase" minor dings, and it smooth the jagged area around major dents so that you don't feel the friction from the indention. I'd call it more Buffer, less Doctor. For less than a minor ding just use the Q-Wiz to lightly sand it.

My understanding is that you use the curved part of the Cue Doctor so you're rubbing with the spot between the straight "handle" and the curved "ball" on the end. Or are you just supposed to use just the ball on the end to rub it out? Does it matter? Anyway, I don't know because it doesn't say but I use the "in-between" part.

One more thing, they say that the heat generated can expand some of the crushed fibers -- I can't comfirm or deny this. (My feeling though is that it expanded the fibers temporarily - Big dent though.)

If you follow the instructions correctly, it actually works great on small nicks and dents. Perfect for someone who really cares about their cues. Excellent and prompt service from Ozone as usual.

Hmm..
By Clinton from Memphis, TN on September 19, 2010
I thought there would be more to it....but maybe that would be worse. It seems to smooth the dent out well enough.....I thought it would be some kind of filler but then again...that wouldn't really work well probably with stroking and probably make things worse....It did the job it said it would do....so It's definantly worth the money.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Surprisingly Effective!!
By Ken from Atlanta on September 9, 2010
I am completely delighted by the performance of the Cue dent buffer. It really works!!! I was able to take my house cues (which were pretty beat up) and bring them back to an almost new feel. Most of the dents were completely removed and the extreme deep dents were reduced to practically nothing. I highly recommend this very effective tool.

Does not work
By Jetskier from MA on August 11, 2010
I tried this to remove some dings in my shaft. It really does not do anything except smooth some of the burrs. Fine grit sandpaper is still the best bet and replacing the shaft when it gets to dinged up.

Problem Solved
