It not only has rules for 8-ball and 9-ball, but also shows tips for forming bridges with your hands, correct stance, and general guidance on shooting system. Gives example of correct racking of the balls, instructions on how to use the diamond system, and has short biographies of all time pool greats.

How many times have you had the smartest guy in the world show up at your house and play pool?
I have one guy that knows everything or thinks he does so I got this rule book and leave it in the drawer with the table brush and chalk.
When he opens his pie hole to spout his vast knowledge....out comes the official rule book to clarify the rules.
We laugh hysterically when the next thing outta his mouth is, "That's not how we did it in Chicago!"
Get this rule book so when moneys on the line you'll have an official answer.

we had read rules on 9 ball online and then we had people not believe us and said we were making up the rules as we played know we can pull out the book and prove it.

is not like you dont know if some rules change or not the is that is always good to have in your power a book of offical rules to have a support in any game played whith official rules

The only reason I give this book a four start rating is because when explaining the rules for each type of billiard game it doesn't always actually tell you how the game is played, objectives, etc. But if you are looking to brush up on some fundamentals, want to read about the BCA hall of famers, and make sure you have the standardized rulings this is your book for a great price.

A concise compilation of rules. A must have for serious players. Many novice players do not understand tournament rules so an official copy comes in handy. Provides the standard rules for many games.
